Pumpkin Carving Party!
Join us at Bechtel International Center on Friday, October 27 at 6:00 pm
for a favorite Halloween tradition, carving jack-o-lanterns. The
jack-o-lantern originated in Ireland, when people would carve faces out of
turnips to scare away ghosts on Halloween. Bring a sharp knife for carving,
and your artistic ideas. We'll supply the pumpkins, food and drink. RSVP
to Sarah Fremerman (sarahf@stanford.edu) so we can reserve a pumpkin for
you. See you there!
